O2Micro Granted Patent for Digital Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) Generator

June 13, 2007. O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ®: OIIM; SEHK: 0457), a leading supplier of innovative power management and security components and systems, was issued 7 claims under United States patent number 7,184,480 for its Digital Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) Generator.

This patented architecture employs a digital control methodology to provide a PWM generator to design an integrated circuit (IC) according to a specific application. Product applications include LCD Monitors and TVs, GPS units, and PDAs where an adequate PWM signal is required.
